Yesterday, the Neumann Society (NJSZT) and the Hungarian Cybersecurity Cluster organized a joint conference on current issues of IT and cybersecurity at the Szent-Györgyi Albert Agora, which also hosts the Informatics History Exhibition. The event was attended by approximately 80–100 interested people, mainly high school students studying advanced computer science.
During the program, talent development opportunities, new ICDL modules – including Robotics and Artificial Intelligence – and free, easy-to-understand IT security curriculum were presented, generating great interest among students.
The topic of cybersecurity was also covered by experts, including András Veress, representative of the Hungarian Cybersecurity Cluster, presenting examples ranging from corporate-level risks to the safety of child users. András Krnács, trainer at Safer Internet, and János Márton, business development director at Falcon GT Consulting Zrt., also shared valuable professional knowledge with the participants.
The program was implemented in the spirit of the European Cybersecurity Month.
The presentations will be available next week at njszt.hu page.
Thank you to all speakers and participants for participating – every minute of the program proved that the interest and enthusiasm of young people for cybersecurity was truly inspiring.
