A member company of the Hungarian Cybersecurity Cluster, Alverad Technology Focus Ltd. has reached a significant professional milestone, with the acquisition of a majority stake by Swiss-based SGS in the company. Thanks to the cooperation, Alverad will continue to operate as SGS' regional IT and OT cybersecurity competence center, further strengthening its presence in the Central and Southeastern European region.
The transaction also represents international recognition of the professional preparedness of the Hungarian cybersecurity sector. Alverad has gained significant experience in the protection of IT and industrial systems, as well as the cybersecurity of critical infrastructures in recent years, and has now become a dominant player in the domestic market.
